Tarnish & Gold
Tarnish & Gold is a new gallery space in Minneapolis, MN. For their website, they wanted to be able to create a buzz around their upcoming grand opening. I worked with them to develop an online presence that would allow promotion through multiple avenues: email marketing, blogging and social networks like Facebook and Twitter. I designed a website that placed an emphasis on typography and color. The clear and bold type helps to bring the information to the forefront. The color helps to create a modern and hip feel for the site. A solid grid system organizes the content and online forms help to ensure that information can be obtained from visitors and aspiring artists. This is the first version of the site. Eventually, it will expand to include additional functionality such as calendars, event information and photo albums. The layout of this site was done in Photoshop and the HTML and CSS were coded by hand by me.
