This book is an exercise in typesetting. For each section of the book, an essay was provided as the text. Each essay presented different typographical challenges and elements to consider, from basic concepts like type size, leading and kerning to more advanced typographical techniques. The text itself conceptually considers the role of authorship in contemporary society. I extend this conversation through the use of side notes and section introductions, which also explain the various typographic techniques used. The project culminated with an interview that I conducted and then typeset using the techniques explored in the previous sections. The copy pictured is a perfect bound paper back book from
